Giuliani Showed Up To Bush’s Funeral With Indicted Associate

I don’t think being amazed and pushing back are necessarily zero-sum things. Actually it’s right and necessary that we feel amazed. The problem is when we stop feeling amazed.

But of course he did. This is Giuliani and that’s what Giulliani does.

The New Yorker magazine quoted Parnas as saying he has known Trump since 1988. I am wondering if Trump introduced Giuliani to Parnas and not the other way around.

When Parnas was sixteen [in 1988], he worked at Kings Highway Realty, selling Trump Organization co-ops. “That was my first time knowing who Trump was, but, growing up in that area, you knew who Trump was, because his name was all over the place,” he said.

Is there a day when we can just rest?

I guess not. This Democratic Republic is just too damn important, and from my view, we are the only ones protecting it. But, our numbers are growing. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and it is NOT the Trump Train.

When your plus-one at a funeral is a shady Russian wannabe oligarch, maybe your personal life needs e-harmony? And don’t even get me started on the plus-two.

Too much!

If you show up with your conspirator, what does that say about you?

No one else? Has life dealt you a turd?

Appears so.

To quote George Clooney in Michael Clayton:

“You are so fucked.”

Frankly the Bushes are not far from any of these happenings. Not sure who was smart or not but they were not clean characters, judging from their actions, words and associations.

Barr was H.W.'s AG who helped him pardon his partners in crime. Cheney is in the mix, so is Manafart, Stone, Atwater. There is SCOTUS with all their Federalist Society appointees, Alito, Thomas, Roberts. Bolton in W’s admn, so is Cheney. Both Bushes used the “Art of the Smear” to perfection. Neither would have won without dirty politics, lies-Willy Horton, Swift boating and racist McCain robocalls. They are a dirty lot, wish the media would stop pretending otherwise.

Sunny side: Martin Scorsese may have one more good film in him.

That’s important too. And it’s easier to get some rest when you see the public waking up more and more. Gotta stay centered and happy, anyway. It was a beautiful fall day here and nice where you are too I hope. Enjoy your dinner.

I could go on and on about George JR. I was distanced from “Poppy”, but no question, he was dirty and more than detached from the real world. CIA either informs you or corrupts you.

“W” was and remains just the dumb one. Jeb is much smarter, but these things are 'relative". What is the comparison benchmark? Politics never is/was logical. Just based on the moment.

But, 'W" was malleable. Just ask Cheney. We knew it. They all knew it.

I am enjoying this day. I am packing for a great trip to NYC for my birthday, with the knowledge that the HOUSE is doing our business. :grinning:

Rudy owes the revival of his reputation to funerals. He used the publicity generated by all those NYPD and FDNY funerals he attended to obscure the awful things he’d done during his tenure as NYC Mayor. In truth, the ink used to cover those funerals would have been better used to reveal the utter stupidity of his putting the City’s emergency command center in 7 WTC (where it went down with the building when the emergency fuel tanks burned) and to report his other many failings.

We allready know they are buddies.

Didn’t I see them on the stage for one of the early 2016 Republican presidential primary debates?

Hasn’t Rudy done that, too?

He’s such a bizarre, sordid character I’d be amazed if he hadn’t.

Dearest Cousin:

I burn for the urn. It is not a simply yearn for the urn anymore. And by “urn”, I mean vagina.
