Giuliani Publishes Slew Of Texts With State Department Officials

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani published texts on Twitter Thursday that he claims were sent by former U.S. Representative to the Ukraine Kurt Volker and U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, all as part of Giuliani’s attempt to combat the whistleblower’s allegations that the officials were communicating with him to “contain” damage he was doing to U.S.-Ukraine relations.

Giuliani is being very helpful here—helpful to Speaker Pelosi and Rep. Schiff.

Didn’t Chelsea Manning spend 7 years in prison for leaking State Department communications…

Rudy: “The inviolability of Attorney-Client Privilege absolutely prohibits me from testifying to Congress.”

Also Rudy: “Here, look at another 10,000 privileged texts that I’m tweeting to the entire world daily.”

Welp, there goes any claims of privilege lol

WTF is a “lamb dog?”

Wow. Old man yells at cloud. What exactly are we supposed to get from these texts? Either the president was improperly getting Rudy to extort Ukraine or he was improperly getting his state department and Rudy to extort Ukraine. I don’t get why Rudy thinks one is better than the other.

It’s rather ironic that Zombie Rudes would refer to the HoR Dems as a “Star Chamber” and then accuse them of a bogus impeachment. After all, there is a truly bogus impeachment inquiry in recent history that had a Star involved - and that Star was a Republican.

Indeed, I’m not sure what he meant by “Star Chamber”. Was he sarcastically using “star” in the sense that the Dems are exceptionally talented? Or is he admitting that that the GOP-driven impeachment of Clinton was in fact the “conspiracy” that it was, and then comparing it (absurdly) to the current Dem effort?

There’s also the fact that he’s stupid and batshit insane, so I suppose he could mean literally anything by this.

While Giuliani was publishing these texts on Thursday, Volker was giving a deposition to several House committees behind closed doors.

So witness tampering…

It is almost cute that Rudy thinks that if he shows these texts devoid of context they somehow exonerate him. Almost.

I’m having trouble following this.

Finally, Lindsey Graham’s “nothingburger.” Meaningless, without context. And it seems to me that it might be an effort to butter up Volker so he won’t spill the beans in today’s testimony.

They continue to demonstrate that they are, in fact, gradeschoolers. We’re supposed to believe these are adults pulling this shit?

So is Rudy.

Haha…I especially liked this one…

The “Who is texting” after he openly communicates with the guy is priceless. Who is texting, indeed. Methinks “Gordon” is going to be getting a subpoena soon.

Rudy? When you buy a seat on the bus, make sure it isn’t underneath the wheels.

That would be hard to establish since he was in a deposition and most likely had no idea that tweets even happened.

ETA: That being said, it certainly seems like an attempt to bear hug the guy (“he did nothing wrong”) in hopes he can be kept on their side, because there seems to be some indication that he’s pissed about being pushed out.

Rudy, Rudy…you seem all over the place…

Didn’t you admit to the delivery of the conspiracy documents to the State Dept which Linnick testified to Congress urgently yesterday?

And didn’t you attack the President of Romania of overzealous anti-corruption enforcement a year ago?

So which one is it…you support corruption or you don’t support corruption?

One thing for sure…you must be the Minister of Muddy-The-Waters in Trump’s Swamp or MOAT!
