John Dowd?

Really?!

You know how radioactive the Trump administration has become to any competent lawyers in DC when someone is forced to hire John Dowd.

Okie dokie. You know that hiring a guy who is already toxic with both the Congress and the Trumpsters may not be the best idea, right?

I would have thought that he would be on speaking terms with Roy Cohn…

At least when the sun isn’t shining…

To craft an insanity defense? Seriously, trying to keep Rudy from incriminating himself is the very definition of a thankless task.

The real question is, who will blab more in some kind of public setting - Dowd or Giuliani?

Don’t know which is taking the bigger risk of association - the client or the lawyer.

Just read this item about the client, his partner, their thuggish ways, and the mounds of fraud/cons left by him in Florida.

A teaser from the opening of the article:

Over the summer, Dianne and Michael Pues got an ominous phone call from the business partner of a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur who owes the couple more than $500,000 over a movie deal gone bad.

“He said the Ukrainians were upset because we were ‘a dangling participle’ and we needed to make a deal to make them go away,” Dianne Pues, who lives in New Jersey with her husband, recounted in a recent interview. “He said we no longer knew who we were dealing with and that the Ukrainians had ties all the way up to the State Department and the White House and they were partners with Rudy Giuliani.”

I sure hope the committees will take their time and not feel like they have to wrap this up prematurely. When republicans scream “Why is it taking so long,” the response should be “Because your freakin’ con goes so deep!”

Was Orly Taitz, America’s favorite lawyer/dentist, not available?

Come to think of it, Rudy could use her skills as a dentist too. She has to be better than whoever put those giant choppers in his mouth.

Perfect example of ‘modern’ repugnican party philosophy:

Pugnacity supersedes ability.

Maybe Parnas and Giuliani will enter into a joint defense agreement.
