Do SCOTUS justices get a security detail? I’m less worried about her illness than I am about assassination.
Wishing you long life and good health Justice Ginsburg.
May you outlive unjust-ice Thomas. Hell, may you outlive that bastard Kavanaugh.
Give 'em hell.
I deplore your total lack of respect for the proper honorifics to be used when referring to His Enormity, Injustice Clarence Thomas.
I’m so glad the Notorious RBG is feeling good and strong. She has served her country with distinction and honor for decades and decades and I salute her. I wish she could be in the majority, but I’m so happy she’s up there on the bench in the name of truth, justice, and the American way! She’s a true American hero!
Are you confident that you control the Senate too then? Last time a Republican controlled Senate confirmed a Democratic Supreme court nominee was during the presidency of Grover Cleveland…
Confident? No. But no one can live forever and, at least with a Dem in the White House I won’t have a panic attack every time her name is in a headline.
Yes, someday the Honourable RBG will be able to go on to her well-deserved rest, but like Darrtown said, we desperately need her voice on the Supreme Court - so I hope she doesn’t mind postponing her angel wings ceremony long enough to thoroughly disappoint the Republican’s fondest hopes of her imminent departure. Also, may I just add how disgusted I am at how blatantly obvious they’ve been about their foul desire that she die just because she’s an impediment to their plans? I cannot imagine they have any soul left after selling them to the devil (fig. of speech, there) for their lust of power! So vile!
Love this! Ah, if only I had the skillz to photoshop Justice RBG relaxing in a tastefully-appointed den, drinking a clear liquid from a wine glass, with a large bottle sitting beside her on a table labelled ‘Anguished Tears of Conservatives - and a beatific smile on RBG’s face. I imagine it would make conservatives’ heads everywhere explode! …oh well. It was a nice visual and daydream while it lasted.
Point taken; I will endeavor to address him properly in the future.
