It will have zero impact on Thomas being on the court, if he makes it out of the hospital alive.
Something like 30% of the country (wild guess here) will be solidly behind what his wife did. We’re through the looking glass, into another reality where this would have mattered in past times.

It’s more than an embarrassment, it’s a major scandal, but he’ll never resign and the opposition party will circle the wagons to protect him and, like Trump, he’ll never be convicted after having been impeached. Our system of government is truly broken. It was evidently never robust to begin with because all it took to break it was Mitch McConnell and the GOP.

I hope I’m not but as was discussed in another thread today, the Rich and Powerful often get away with their crimes. I accept the list our lawyer friend in Tx produced earlier but money and connections do seem to be a good indicator of getting away with it.
