Doctors from the University of Arizona Medical Center just gave a press conference with an update on the victims of the mass shootings Saturday that included Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, and they said that though with Giffords “we’re not out of the woods yet,” so far there’s been no change, and “at this phase in the game, no change is good.”At this point, Dr. Peter Rhee said, eight of the 20 victims remain in the hospital. Two have been discharged, two remain in the ICU, and one of those two is in critical condition.
