The expression is “rabbit hole”, and it comes from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, written in 1865. The hole is a metaphor for all sorts of things, all of which is lost in the idea of a “trail”.

uh, that IS the purpose of School Vouchers.
Remember back in my home town of Ambridge PA the Catholic schools would not admit children of color even after the 1964 Civil Rights Act was passed.

Yeah, the bum. He’s only going to get people calling his house with a bunch of vicious spittle-spraying death threats. If he had any integrity he’d have torched his career as well to make this pretty obvious point. And of course it’s easy to know what a person whose name you didn’t know until the last couple of days was fine with, because when you “just know” things it’s all easy.

They got at least 2 more “news” channels besides Fox.
They got and kept their single issue voters on abortion. But who would have thunk it that by pandering to them it would mean exposing that cruelty really turns them on.
They got their guy hiding/hoarding paperwork on this nation’s national secrets. Sort of shoots a hole through their claim on national defense.
They got folks that think starting another war over religion is an excellent way to win hearts and minds.
And they shook loose every nutter, fool, and idiot that had been hiding in the under-bush.

All his enemies have to do is send him to one of the 6 hospitals Walker claims he ran.
Walker emphasized that there was much more to him than the star football player who won the Heisman Trophy at the University of Georgia and played in the NFL.
“They don’t know that I have this food service company; I have a drapery company and I supervise six hospitals around the United States,” he said.

A 6-year senate term in a purple/red state is a very tough pill to swallow. If Walker does significantly worse than Kemp, it will shake up the GOP guaranteed. And Trump will have to actually earn the 2024 Republican nomination. It won’t be handed to him.

Also, vouchers are a urban/suburban/middle class thing. What are your school choices if you live in the rural boonies? None or next to none.
