That has been the common joke upthread. I thought of adding it when I first wrote it, but I don’t really think Teddy boy is gay? He has so many other things he is hypocritical about…I guess it wouldn’t be a surprise to add that to the pile.

It is interesting that as part of this story we are seeing the first hint of a connection to Russian oligarchs. We know that evidently Santos saw a sudden explosion in his bank balance at some point, though we don’t know exactly how much or where it came from. Congressional campaigns aren’t cheap(!), especially in a pricey place like NY.
This story feels as if it will blow up into a major scandal at some point. And, the real beauty of the thing is that the GOP and McCarthy personally, are completely and very visibly stuck with the guy.
