GA Republicans Fight ‘Don’t Bother Voting’ Sentiment At Town Hall

My, my, all is not peachy in Georgia, eh? (typing as I snicker…)

The very best way for Republicans to support Donald Trump and protest the corrupt election is to NOT VOTE IN THE GEORGIA SENATE RACE. Show your support for Trump and his family.
DON’T VOTE!

I’m sure this will help:

Almost a million absentee ballot requests have already come in, I believe.

Glad you’re certain about future events.

Stacey Abrams, Rafael Warnock, and Jon Ossoff–and their thousands of GOTV organizers and volunteers–see http://fairfight.com--are anything but complacent.

Yeah we’re radicals except it’s your side that is making all the death threats.

Fuck you Kemp

Well, the Georgia GOP politicians are sure working overtime learning to speak more directions out of their mouths at the same time.

Republicans created this monster and now it’s turned on them. Tsk Tsk.

Was this when Jeb was relegated to the children’s hour? I see a lot kids who can not vote, but they can pity clap.

If the Dems win, regardless of the margin this is surely going to end up in courts.

Perdue going back to the trough.

It’s how this usually (and I say, usually, not always) plays out. I’ve seen plenty of registration efforts eventually go wanting because some of those that register don’t always show up to cast the ballot.

I know they’re knocking themselves out on this and they should be congratulated for getting to this point. But there’s enough smokescreen in this ‘don’t bother voting’ sentiment to allow SOME (not ALL) Dems to say, oh well, then they don’t need me to show up.

Let’s see what the outcome and the turnout are. I want Ossoff and Warnock to win - I want McConnell put in his place.

But I’ve seen this story before, just recently, with Maine, South Carolina and the other Democratic Senate contenders that had incredible financial support and registration efforts, only to be defeated because the GOP machine was stronger.

Said it before and will say it again - that the two GOP contenders, with all their crimes and issues, are STILL contenders says alot about GA voters and how they feel about those crimes. This shouldn’t even be hard, but apparently it is.

Beyond all that, the ‘don’t bother voting’ sentiment is a smokescreen that hasn’t been tried before. Let’s see if it is, in fact, successful, as GOP voters rarely fail to show up, historically.

Money alone can’t get you elected. That’s been one takeaway from the last two elections.

Beto and MJ raised more money than Cruz and Cornyn and couldn’t defeat the machine.

Yeah, looks like it’s time for me to dig out and polish up my Weather Underground membership card.
Finally, I can proudly display it.

That’s a town hall I should have gone. I have plenty of questions for my Senators about the money they received from Dominion.

Also Sara Gideon. The nation is deeply polarized. It’s down to old-fashioned GOTV.

I can’t see why not from my POV either but I’m trying to see it from the POV of a MAGAt who wants palpable rage and invective – white nationalism and xenophobia served hot – rather than the tepid Trump loyalty the Georgia GOP incumbents are offering.

Hopefully, they were encouraging people to vote in the special polling place set up by ‘their president’ down a Mar-A-Lago, where every voter receives a selfie with the Trump of their choice.

If he gets enough write-in’s, could Trump be elected Senator from Georgia?

Could Donald hold both Senate seats, or do they have to be different people? ; - )
