Fox must find themselves in a very awkward and sensitive position in regard to Trump these days. Murdoch thinks far enough ahead of the curve that he can foresee Trump’s probable downfall, but he has to let things play out with his MAGA audience in a way that doesn’t take Fox along for the ride down the hill. So, he looks to be weaning his network off of Trump slowly, getting everyone conditioned for what will follow.
Hope to hell that Fox crashes and burns, but I expect we won’t be that lucky.
