Fox Host Defends Trump Purposefully Downplaying COVID By Invoking 9/11

On the 19th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, “Fox and Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade defended President Donald Trump’s deliberate playing down of the COVID-19 pandemic by comparing Trump’s actions to that of then-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani during the terrorist attacks.

that of then-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani during the terrorist attacks.
You mean the idiot that put the emergency operations center in a building that had already been hit with a terrorist attack

Of course they had to have Rudy, a noun, a verb, and 9/11 on. Oh what will they do once Rudy is not available?

I guess there’s at least a weird sort of comfort in the predictability. If the president says Biden is made of cheese, they’ll find someone willing to say he smelled slightly of cheddar in an elevator once.

50 9/11s worth of unnecessary American deaths and counting.

My recollection is that Giuliani said that evening of 9/11 that ten thousand or more people might have died in the World Trade Center. That’s not really a criticism of Giuliani, because really no one knew it would turn out to be far fewer than that, and ten thousand was a credible guess at the time. But Giuliani absolutely did not dismiss the scale or horrors of that event in real time, as Trump has done – and is still doing – with Covid.

Down the Rabbit Hole. Kilmeade is too stupid to know it but he won’t be able to take this back for the duration of his life.

This is an inflection point.

There is no logic that protects or defends Trump. And after he is removed from Office, every one of his minions, tools, sycophants, paid slaves and babysitters will not only have been found to be on the wrong side of history, but will have been revealed as supporters of genocide of the American People.

Good point. Neither did he say the planes were just Cessnas. Or that the buildings wouldn’t fall.

I just watched the video of Bush, who I never voted for, throwing out the first pitch at the World Series one month after 911 and my disgust with trump has never been stronger.

““Number one, you heard about an attack and you didn’t call a press conference to panic people.”

There was no need to call anything ASSHOLE ,I remember that day as if it was yesterday,In Jersey we could see the smoke billowing, people knew something terrible had happened.
The people who went through that trauma that day didn’t panic either everyone was trying to help some one.

Guess he’s forgotten the PDB about “Bin Laden Determined to Attack in the U.S.”

There was a hell of a lot of lying going on.

“Number one, you heard about an attack and you didn’t call a press conference to panic people. What, did you lie to them? I don’t think so.”

I’m trying to remember. What was the Fox response to the Obama admin’s reluctance to prematurely characterize the Benghazi attack?

Cult membership doesn’t depend on logic. Quite the opposite. The fact that this sack of pigshit is still in office shows how far this nation has fallen.

Just keep flailing, bud. You might make it to shore.

Though I doubt it. You have a 239 pound anchor around your neck.
