“Fox and Friends” host Brian Kilmeade slammed President Donald Trump on Wednesday morning over his non-response to debate moderator and Fox News host Chris Wallace’s question about condemning white supremacists during the first presidential debate with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Tuesday night.
This president thinks every question is about “getting” him in some way. That’s why he never offers answers to even softballs like this. He thinks simply answering makes him a chump.
Can’t wai… Strike that. Actually, I can wait-- to hear what whitewash Trump’s smarmy little bink uses to paint over this latest gobsmacking mouthful of racism.
Also stricken from my vocabulary is the term supremacists – when describing this cadre of losers. They sure don’t make us whites look better than anyone else.
I’m going with: White Belittlers.
So, Kilmeade actually is as stupid as he looks, then. Well. All this time and he never noticed.
A little education for you, Brian. The reason Trump couldn’t denounce white supremacists is that he is one. That’s been true all along, so you need to come out from behind the door, grab a net, and see if you can catch a clue.
“Stand back and stand by.” What’s scary about this is that it was plain to me he had that line prepared. He didn’t come up with that on the spur of the moment.
What I saw was: after waffling around on Wallace’s question, Trump said something like,”Who are we talking about? Who do you want me to talk about?” (Wallace had mentioned only hate groups and white nationalists generally.) Wallace responds, “The Proud Boys.”
Boom! “Stand back and stand by.” Clearly planned line, I thought, which he invited Wallace to set up. This was after encouraging his supporters to go to the polls to monitor them closely.
If we ever doubted his authoritarian and dictatorial instincts, there they were on full display.
