This is the problem we’re facing. Half the GOP want this virus because they’ve been waiting for the end times and believe this could be the start of it and the other half want it because of their post-apocalyptic fantasies where they rule over their neighborhood with their ARs and their ex-wife’s gold jewelry.
I’m not so sure. To emasculate someone, they need to have male genitalia to begin with. She’d have to demonstrate his total stupidity and venality, and as she has a functioning brain, it wouldn’t take much to do that.
He looks old enough that there’s no certainty that he was taught the big bang theory. Einstein came on board some time in the 1920s, IIRC, but it took another 40 years for all the arguing among physicists to settle it among themselves. My grade school science textbook still led with the steady state theory (the one where the earth revolves around the sun). Originally, the assumption was that the universe was of infinite age. Interestingly enough, the big bank theory is more consistent with creation mythology.
Of course, this guy was presumably home schooled. And what’s the difference between 9,000 years and 29,000,000,000 years between friends? I don’t doubt that the Big Bang started on 29,999,997,980 BC at exactly 9:00 EDT. Back then, God hadn’t set up work at home and you were expected to keep normal business hours.

Yes, the accumulated evidence was pretty convincing (to scientists) by the late '30s, but the theory did not make it into the better textbooks until the late '50s and early '60s.
Well, he finished high school in '63, college in '67, and medical school in '71.
It really is a bad sign about the quality of medical education in the US that you can/could get an MD without knowing anything about the basic principles of life. I guess a lot of them really are super-well-paid plumbers and mechanics.
