Ryan Crocker, who served as ambassador to Iraq under President George W. Bush and as ambassador to Afghanistan until last month to President Barack Obama, was arrested by the Washington state patrol earlier this month on hit-and-run and DUI charges, KXLY reports.The 63-year-old allegedly crossed two lanes of traffic, hit a semi and continued to drive on the afternoon of August 14. He was issued a field sobriety test and had a .16 blood alcohol content, which is twice the legal limit. Another test registerd a .152 BAC, according to KXLY. Crocker pleaded not guilty to both the hit and run and DUI charges, which each carry $1,000 bail. His next hearing is scheduled for September.
