An “abundance” of caution would be staying home without symptoms. Staying home with symptoms is common sense, assuming it isn’t required by a public health order.

Poor kid, all she wanted was to escape her life in Eastern Europe and marry a rich American guy…and now she has to deal with being the first lady* in a Donald Trump administration*. I jest, and I have no idea what she’s really like, but it can’t be a very easy gig being Melania these days.

She just doesn’t want to be anywhere near him after he royally fucks this debate up.
He will be looking to blame it on someone and go completely ballistic (probably on-stage) and his contract-wife would be a good target.
She is also busy getting the Divorce Papers in order to file right after he loses the election (probably by Friday Nov. 6th in a Florida Court.)
She has to wring as much cash out of him as she can prior to all of his assets being frozen in early Feb. 2021 by all the lawsuits and indictments after he flees the country (without her, but with Hope Hicks.)
