So, either DeSantis backs off and concedes defeat or he escalates. Given what we know about this psychopath, escalation would seem to be his only face-saving (in his twisted little mind) option. More executive orders followed by arrests? Declaring a State of Emergency where the National Guard is sent into schools to rip masks off? Stay tuned.

Yes … and no … they have it for local positions - but the recall process does not apply to the Governor & a number of other state wide positions … however the intangible value of gaining a huge number of signatures - is worth something …
DeSantis has already been slapped down in his attempt to push the cruise line around … maybe he can get whacked again for endangering the lives of millions of kids…
DeSantis just refuses to understand why people are not eager to sacrifice their children to a highly infectious, potentially fatal, disease so that he can prove his tough guy, RW cred.
How he expects to profit by continuing to grandstand on this issue, even his his constituents die by the dozens, and after he has himself been vaccinated, is mind blowing.
Here’s hoping that the common sense shown by these leaders starts to take hold in other areas.
