Arizona GOP Senate candidate Jeff Flake released a brutal ad Thursday resurfacing allegations of anger-management issues against his opponent, Democrat Richard Carmona. The ad features Cristina Beato, who supervised Carmona when he served as U.S. Surgeon General during the Bush administration. Beato has long alleged that Carmona was difficult to work with and had issues with both his temper and women. In the ad, Beato recounts her allegation that Carmona once angrily beat on her door in the middle of the night. Carmona has “issues with anger, with ethics and with women,” Beato says in the ad. “Richard Carmona should never, ever be in the U.S. Senate.”
