Well, be fair. The Job of a reporter for Finland’s MTV does not depend upon his continued “access” to the White House or the amount of “likes” his articles get on Facebook, nor the amount of “re-tweets” his articles get, like with the American Reporters who DO have all these things to deal with.
It’s right there in their contracts; x number of Facebook likes/week. x number of re-tweets per DAY. x number of WH members answering their questions.
They no longer are Journalists. They are Web Influencers. No different from that chic with the Makeup You-Tube series.
THAT is what is wrong with Journalism in America.

I am goddamn sick of the MSM talking about Trump’s and Barr’s “investigation” or “probe” of the Bidens pere at fils. They are simply fabricating evidence and trying to extort third countries to go along with it.
This whole evenhandedness thing is totally inappropriate when the free press and democracy itself are under siege. Journalists in third-world despotisms at least know that they have to take sides in the camp of democracy and the rule of law.

This is what I just don’t understand. Why do leaders of foreign countries come to the US to meet Trump? These press conferences are an embarrassing farce. Take Finland, for example… were they just being polite, visiting? What’s the point?
