Feds Considered Removing Peaceful Protesters With Heat Lamp For Trump’s Photo-Op

So the police lied. Surprise, surprise.

Word has it that the ADS mm wave ‘gun’ has not be deployed even in war zones due to effectiveness and safety concerns. But apparently OK to use on domestic non-violent protesters.

Yup. Been in testing for a couple of decades now, and not used because it may well constitute a war crime.

So totally okay to use on your own citizens.

Feds Considered Removing Peaceful Protesters With Heat Lamp

To be fair, it does work on cockroaches.

They were going to burn people…

Microwave radiation energy sufficient to cause heat pain in the dermis is likely to be capable of damaging the ocular lens. One would think blinding peaceful protestors with cataracts might constitute excessive force.

Not if that one is Bill Barr, apparently.

Good grief. I hope that wasn’t the actual charge.

Did they also consider lasers like Dr. Evil?

The eye is an organ of the ocular system and blindness would constitute organ failure, so this even fails the John Yoo test. We have reached the point where there is no limit on the government’s use of force to repress dissent and compel obedience.

They didn’t have any sharks on hand to install the lasers onto.

But all this unrest and protesting, is a war crime in Trumplandia.

Because we won’t love him, we must be destroyed.

The top brass at the Defense Department’s military police force in the D.C. region considered using a heat lamp as part of efforts to remove peaceful protesters in Lafayette Square to make way for President Donald Trump’s infamous photo-op in June, according to a whistleblower at the D.C. National Guard.

So, isn’t there a serious problem with trusting our military to do the right thing? Miley apologized for his fuckup. But the problem is a little more pervasive than the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff being coopted to undermine democracy.

As many have said over the years, we always manage to find new means to maim and kill each other.

Did they also do an inventory check for these?

Barr has the twisted smile of someone that used to set ants on fire with a magnifying glass. What sorts of psychopaths seek clearance to use this sort of weapon on their fellow US citizens? Will thinking like this lead to greater detente between protesters and police? Will proposals like this end the chants to defund police?

Someone in the military chain of command said no. The lack of similar institutional restraint in the police force is what BLM is all about.

Great. Now I need body armor, goggles, hard hat, and a mylar blanket to protest.

During the Micheal Brown protests the city attorney (?),for Ferguson came up with the police chief that people could protest, but if they stopped moving for more than 3 seconds they can be arrested. And so because she and her friends were standing in her yard, not moving, they got arrested.
I know that later on, for a couple of weeks, this was litigated in court, which found it to be unconstitutional. But many people were arrested under this charge, and I believe their cases were dropped, but the time, expense and worry was fucking stupid.
