NEW YORK – At least five federal agencies were involved in a massive immigration raid on Canal Street in Manhattan on Tuesday. The huge, heavily armored federal law enforcement presence took what observers described as a mix of migrants and protesters off the streets in what both activists and local elected officials are calling an…

“The fact that you needed a military-style — it looked like a tank — and armed agents to deal with street vendors, it’s not the hardened criminals we were told,” Williams said. “This is about fear, and causing chaos, and harm. … It’s not about public safety and it’s about causing fear and chaos.”

Armored cars and tanks and guns
Came to take away our sons,
But every man must stand behind
The men behind the wire.

This is how the Feds are going to treat blue cities in blue States that won’t toe the line with the administration. It’s a first shot across the bow and, given its success of shock and awe, won’t be the last.

TSF is pushing and pushing and pushing until he gets his violent confrontation so he can invoke the insurrection act.

Not that he needs it, he can just invoke it anyway, it’s not like the Subprime Six will stop him.

Is he dead yet?

Worth noting that harassment of street vendors historically an underreported lynchpin of state control. Personally witnessed this in fancy Tianhe district of Guangzhou back in mid-teens. Vendors display their cheap toys on big tarps so they can gather them up quickly.

So they went after some defenseless people and pretended it was a military operation to get points from an influencer. Let’s have a round of applause for the brave men of ICE. Vendors of counterfeit designer bags on Canal Street in no way constitute a threat to anything other than the pocketbooks of the tourists who buy them.

Please remember that the pardoned Proud Boys are the ICE “agents” with badges and guns who are bodily harming people with such hateful swagger that in my mind this occurrence is a battle, like in real time war. Shit’s gonna happen in these cities so prepare yourself for fire . A military type response from the left is urgently needed. Something along the lines of the Guardian Angels that shadows the proud boys who are now trump’s ICE agents. C’mon people, stock up . Can we not find a Governor or State’s Attorney who will try to kidnap and harass Proud Boys? Find them and detain all who brag about being a proud boy before they matriculate into an ICE agent. Generally speaking, Proud Boys are poorly educated and hormonally dangerous. All of them. Should you spot one, make his life uncomfortable any way you can. The word will spread because we know who they are, and that might chill them a little.Federal Action Reporting Form | New York State Attorney General

Trump may think he can intimidate us by causing us to get into a big crowd and burn buildings down so he can give the order to “shoot!” BUT, we can set the terms for this WAR. Start compiling the names of Proud Boys in your neighborhood. We can pick them off one by one guerrilla non violent style.Federal Action Reporting Form | New York State Attorney General

Excellent. First good step to chill these assholes. Watch what happens,… people will identify these ICE agents because they are the jackasses who live in your neighborhood. Punch out their lights !Federal Action Reporting Form | New York State Attorney General

Everybody knows they’re knock offs, I’ll bet even the tourists. They’re a NYC tradition. And they’re cheap. I got a Herve Chapelier knockoff nylon overnight bag for something like 25 bucks once. I didn’t know it was a knockoff. I just thought it was really nice for the money. Then someone oohed and ahed that they liked my Chapelier, and I found out what I’d bought.

When the bag wore out, I bought a real Chapelier for about six times the price, but I couldn’t do without it by that point. It was essential. Have to say, there wasn’t much difference between the knock off and the real one I have now. Pretty damned good job.

at least one person who she described as a “rioter” was arrested during the operation for “assault on a federal officer.”

the American version of “shot while trying to escape”, so far less lethal but equal in (lack of) credibility

Alerting ICE to vendors working on Canal Street is the contemporary equivalent of Renault being shocked that gambling takes place at Rick’s Café in Casablanca.

To be fair, Rick did warn Colonel Strasser that there were certain areas of New York he didn’t advise the fascists to invade…

And she knows they’re undocumented how exactly?

“ICE and its federal partners, including FBI, DEA, ATF, IRS-CI and CBP conducted a targeted, intelligence-driven enforcement operation on Canal Street in New York City, focused on criminal activity relating to selling counterfeit goods,” McLaughlin said in an email. “During this law enforcement operation, rioters who were shouting obscenities, became violent and obstructed law enforcement duties including blocking vehicles and assaulting law enforcement. Already one rioter has been arrested for assault on a federal officer.”
… … … … … … … ..
Very strange that it seems NYPD was not on this list of “law enforcement” outfits. It’s obvious to me the feds are trying damn hard to provoke violence. And not just in NYC but anywhere. Next it looks like San Francisco will be flooded by troops.

For once, NYPD is against things - because they were left out of the loop. That area is theirs to patrol and grift from. How dare DHS and ICE come in and arrest people - and leave them to deal with the unruly crowds!
