How long before Humpty Trumpty declares the FDA a domestic terrorism organization?

Better news would be if the government donated all the excess HCQ they purchased to those who actually need it like your cousin.

But you can keep mainlining that Clorox and Lysol like Fat Ass recommended.

Also, if you’re a MAGAt, spray a little Easy-Off oven cleaner into your mouth to keep those pearly whites sparkling. I hear that’s how Ivanka keeps her bewitching smile! It’s easier than brushing your teeth which, from the photos I’ve seen of you deplorables, you don’t do anyway.

The Deep State appears to be in full revolt and has made Trump a lame duck.

The Battle of Lafayette Park is a day that will live in infamy as the day that ended his presidency.

Yes. It does suggest Trump is losing his hold over his own Administration or that they don’t fear him as they used to.

Mysterious scrawlings in black magic marker were added to the FDA’s removal of CQ that said since injecting bleach is proven to inoculate against the virus there was no longer any need for the CQ. An investigation continues.

Or some of them are considering how they’ll be employable after this long national nightmare is over.

I’m not sure saying, “Remember that one time we went against tRump and we got hell for it?” is gonna work.

There are legitimate uses for hydroxychloroquine, lupus and RA patients, for example. I hope he finds a way to get the medicine to those who really need it.

Just a reminder. The US passed 2.1 million confirmed cases and 115k deaths. With no end, or even decline, in sight. Indeed, it almost seems as if we’re giving up trying to reduce the spread.

Sometimes, I have to remind myself how jaw-droppingly inappropriate and unprecedented a thing it was for Trump to stand behind the Presidential podium and hawk a drug for unapproved purposes.

There should be legal consequences, but, of course, Trump is a monarch according to Barr.

If FDA yanks the drug it would be near impossible for a doctor to justify off label use. That’s an option a physician has if he or she “reasonably believes” that a medication used in a manner not listed by the manufactured will provide benefit to the patient. What FDA is saying in this move is the drug offers no therapeutic benefit making the risk to benefit ratio in its use for COVID poor if there are any risks at all and there are.

This drug gained momentum because Trump wanted to be the man and claim he had COVID beat. There was never any serious mechanism based thinking that supported its use - side effects or none. Trump grandstanded and off we went hyping a dangerous drug without any therapeutic benefit in the treatment of COVID. People bought bought HydroxyQ for the same reason they bought 20 AR-15s. It fit their politics.

That study published in the Lancet was pulled because of there being something sketchy about the methodology. Apparently they neglected to do the normal vetting that the Lancet is known for. Not that the results aren’t accurate but just that technically there was a flaw in how the results were compiled?

Battle of Lafayette Park is somehow too grandiose for what happened.

How about the “Bullshit at Lafayette Park?”
