“. . . with a meddling campaign focused on denigrating Democratic presidential nominee . . .”

Well, this sounds familiar.

I wonder if Putin will dump the dirt he has on Trump after Trump loses the election, just to cause more chaos after the election.

Sounds like Trump’s Russian handlers have been busy.

Putin and his oligarchs are going to have hell to pay. Once Joe’s in office, I suspect they’re going to see the sanctions get really nasty. I’m not talking about frozen assets…no. I’m talking about confiscation with reimbursement dismissed with extreme prejudice.

What makes you think he does? Its the so called “deep state” and their Russian handlers and facilitators who hate America.

I think King Kong traumatized him.

Nobody tell Ron Johnson.

My guess is not since I suspect his sons, Uday and Qusay Trump, will pop up in 2024 with the older one running for the nomination, if not tRump himself trying again. If, and its a big if, tRump is prosecuted he’s done but his idiot boys are the perfect lapdogs for Putin.

Don’t get me wrong. I want you to be right. I am dying to know what they have beyond the pee-pee tape.

And Putin has the luxury of not having to worry about outside forces undermining his “election”. A doorknob here, a tea party there…

PicMover, I see your logic. Putin plays the long game. The Trump family is rife with corruption and Putin may as well hang on to his evidence for future use.

Hope so. Block the internet into and out of Russia, too.

It’s dead simple. With Trump it is always money. No need for a pee-pee tape, or anything worse, although these may exist. Putin has the ability to bankrupt the Trump Organization by calling in loans. The loans and agreements in question are not with him but with people whom he can direct. These people are held in place by exposure to the russian legal system, which Putin can also direct. The threat does not have to be made explicitly (just the same as Cohen saying that no-one had to spell out the threat that helped Falwell to decide to endorse Trump).

For a truly terrifying read on what Putin can do, read Catherine Belton’s “Putin’s People”. Basically, he has enough black money to subvert small governments directly, and is on the edge of being able to do the same with substantial democracies.
