‘Extraordinarily Widespread’: Dr. Birx Warns America Now In New Phase Of COVID Pandemic | Talking Points Memo

She’s about four months too late. You know, back when she had an iota of credibility.

Deborah Birx is a mess. She’s been lying and painting a rosy picture to keep Skanky Turdface and the Organization happy so that she can keep feeding at the trough and get attention she desperately craves even if it is for the wrong reasons. No wonder the Republican Death Panel briefings ended being sh*tshows. There is no plan, just lying, hydroxychloroquine, disinfectant, heat, incompetence, chaos, confusion, death and despair.

Speaker Pelosi who gets a lot of background intelligence and briefing and is very careful about what she says is calling for her to be fired. Right call.

Over 150,000 dead and 3 million cases in America. More American heroes dead in 3 months than in all the wars since World War II. When will anyone be held accountable?

Deb, it looks as though you just ate something really unpleasant tasting. That shit sandwich that’s been forced on you didn’t turn out to be what you’d been led to believe, eh?

When she could have made a difference, she instead toed the administration line.

Even speaking out and resigning would have given her some credibility. However, I’m not going to blame her for this downward spiral.

Trump and those pulling his strings made this pandemic more deadly.

Dr. Birx, who left the Army with rank of Colonel, is now easing into a defense of her performance that will eventually end up with “I was just following orders.”

Deb, you might want to look up the history there.

AND
When asked if Covid death toll could double by end of year…to 300,000 deaths…

Birx said “Anything is possible”

So what will Trump and CDC do about it?

Please don’t tell me DO NOTHING again or just throw TP!

By the way, I knew in August, 1941 that the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor. In hindsight, I probably should have mentioned it.

Did she go to Charleston WV so she could be sure none of the locals would listen?

Sorry, but you decided a while ago to enthusiastically join Team Trump. Dr. Fauci showed it is possible to work in this government and still keep your reputation and dignity intact. You went the other way.

I guess Pelosi struck home. But it’s too late for Birx to get honest. The horses have left the stable. That virus is out and circulating and there won’t be any beating it back without a total lockdown, like New York and the other coalition states did in March, April and May. Even, then there’s no way to reverse the infections we already have and the deaths already in the making. The heartland is in for a lot of pain, and Birx bears not just a little of the blame.
