Experts Brush Off Hegseth, Trump’s Latest Arguments for Blowing Through Today’s War Powers Deadline

So if I understand this correctly.

  1. To avoid being hobbled by Congress…
  2. He declared the end of hostilities…
  3. Because no one is shooting at the moment..
  4. And it ends the question of the war powers resolution limitations… (It doesn’t but he can believe what he wants right?)
  5. And the blockade is not an act of war…
  6. And Pete is not a drunk (I threw that in for grins)
  7. Claiming his goals were accomplished (Winning. We are not clear what though.)
  8. While acting like a little surrender monkey. (As he does TACO)
  9. And left everyone involved trying to figure out the mess he left…
  10. As he finds something else shiny and bright to attract his attention…
  11. Until he breaks that, surrenders again…
  12. And pretends it never happened. it was all a dream…
  13. The Dallas effect all over again.

Just as easy to believe as anything else that spews out of the mouth of this prevaricadministration.

34 felonies convicted. Sentencing delayed until he is out of office. I would assume a fine per count. At the outside worst for him would be a year of incarceration.but I doubt that would happen.

One of trump’s two impeachments did get more than 50 votes to convict. It was not to the 2/3rds majoity needed but it was significant. So based on a simple majority he did lose though not convicted.

The Marianas Trench is the deepest place on Earth. It’s where the Pacific Plate descends into the bowels of the Earth, is ground into a molten state, and is reprocessed into the lava that erupts in volcanic form along the “Rim of Fire” in the western Pacific. A fittingly hellish place to consign a certain miscreant’s mortal remains.

Maybe there was something to all that phrenology nonsense after all.

I’m sure he’ll be going down much further than that.

White House Claims Iran War Has Been ‘Terminated,’ Despite Ongoing Blockade. Experts Say That’s Absurd.

… … … …
One democrat member in the House has been quoted as saying…
“That’s bullshit”

This is trump’s war. All his. He started it with zero reason other than fantasy fed him from Netanyahu that it’d be over in a week no problem..and no after effects cuz Iran would collapse like a house of cards and who has ever heard of the Strait of Hormuz anyway?

Seems to me too clean. I would prefer a burial somewhere away from human habitation where his remains can be interred and the site and surrounding space for some yards called a “super fund infection zone”. He needs to be known as the worse sort of detritus possible to conceive of. Putting him in the trench would spread his infection across the Pacific Rim endangering many countries.
From the google AI for those who may be unfamiliar with what “superfund” means

“Superfund sites are highly contaminated locations in the U.S. requiring long-term cleanup of hazardous waste, managed by the EPA under CERCLA law. There are over 1,300 sites on the National Priorities List (NPL), including abandoned landfills, mines, and industrial facilities. Cleanups are funded by responsible parties or federal funds, aiming to protect public health from contaminants.”

Eh, the right answer is bury him next to Ivana on his private golf course where no one can get in without a million dollar payment.

Let the grave overgrow much like hers has.

If we really want to forget him, learn from him and put him there.

Senator Slotkin was a CIA analyst. she says the Strait of Hormuz was the first and last topic everytime during the last 47 years a President considered attacking Iran.

Trump acted like he’d never heard of the Strait of Hormuz. In his posts he couldn’t even spell it correctly

No hostile country in the world currently feels the need to attack the US because Trump and Co. are doing such a great job of destroying it that there is no need to waste time and energy on attacking.

My ex was an unrepentant alcoholic, and I’ve encountered more than my share of them in a work context, and have tried to follow the medical and scientific understanding of addiction, which continues to evolve over my lifetime. But I’ve always understood it in terms of an 'addictive personality’, with various options for a ‘substance of choice’ to achieve the dopamine high. And various patterns of behaviour, and various connections between the mental and physiological mechanisms of addiction. The substance of choice very much affects the physiological addiction and the mechanism and chances of rehabilitation. The notion of an alcoholic personality, or a dry alcoholic is a new one, and doesn’t square with what I’ve observed over the years. FWIW.
