Good trouble.

Substitute drugs, opioids and other risky pharmaceuticals for guns, and most Republicans will not have any problem at all in saving children’s lives. Or substitute books, for that matter.

I’m sure the good ol’ boys in the session will try to demean Justin again. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Proud Boys apparently aren’t proud enough to show their faces.

People like Pearson and Jones give me hope. Their abilities and focus are what the TN legislators are afraid of. Wishing them strength and safety.

Be thankful. Undoubtedly they have faced only a mother could love.

I don’t think their mothers loved them.

Or their fathers.

How fast can the republican leadership adjourn a special session rather than do anything?

Yes. We need this in all 50 state legislatures.

Better yet, since, according to republicans and their sham SCOTUS judges this is a federal issue. Let’s have a federal law on gun control.
More better yet, let’s revert back to pre Scalia interpretation of the 5th amendment.

TN Republicans started a fight they may not be able to finish with these two.

House Republican leaders have repeatedly denied that race was a factor in the expulsions of the two Black lawmakers. But Democrats…including Tennessee Democrat and third protestor Johnson, pushed back on the argument, saying that the only reason that she wasn’t expelled was because she is white.

If it looks like a racist, quacks like a racist, acts like a racist then…

It will be hard since the GOP in TN have ‘ruled’ that if the SPEAKER doesn’t like what you start to say, he can gavel you down. Let’s talk fascism.

These wonderful young Black fellows are showing how to address their fascist “colleagues” openly and democratically. It’s a trend that will find many young allies. We all must support them however we can.
