Exit Polls: Romney Won Catholics In Michigan | Talking Points Memo

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won the Catholic vote in the Michigan Republican primary, according to exit polls from CBS News. Romney got 43 percent of those GOP voters polled, versus 37 percent for former Sen. Rick Santorum, a Catholic himself. Santorum did much better with evangelical Christian voters, crushing Romney 50 percent to 32 percent among those who identified as such. More context on relgious voters from the New York Times:
