ETA: And keep in mind, if there is a person who serves as the living avatar representing the source and focus of all of Thomas’ pent up rage, frustration, humiliation, ego-wounding, etc., that person is POTUS right now. He HATES Biden. HATES HIM. For Biden to become POTUS and Thomas to have to sit there and fucking take it was probably one of the most blindingly infuriating and enraging things he’s experienced in his lifetime.

Shorter Eastman: Having now definitively lost, there is no longer any need for the district court order that identifies me as doing crime and fraud, so please make it disappear.
It’s up to Eastman to obtain a stay, and he did not obtain one before complying with the district court’s order to produce the documents. The J6 Committee was under no obligation not to review the documents.

This is what happens when habitually stiff your lawyers on their fees. (I’m not saying Eastman did this deliberately, but when you have a reputation for not paying your lawyers, it makes it hard to hire guys who won’t cut corners.)

The emails were revealed on Wednesday following a bizarre mishap: the January 6 Committee included the address of the link that Eastman had sent it to access the records in a Tuesday night court filing. The link had not been deactivated by the time the filing hit the docket, leaving it open for members of the public — and press — to access.
I do NOT want to cast any doubt on the work of the J6 Committee. Overall they have done a masterful, if slow, job of digging up info and building their case, and they’ve done it with apparent integrity and fairness.
On the other hand if trolling it was, “accidentally” including that link was PRIME trolling, And considering everything these @ssholes have done to NOT come clean, really it is probably less egregious than the stuff the Rs are gonna pull if they get control of the House again.
At least a lot of people are saying that…
