Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld appeared on Fox & Friends and shared harsh criticism of Attorney General Eric Holder and his recent decision to move ahead with trying suspected terrorists in military tribunals rather than in federal courts. Â Rumsfeld declared it to be the “right decision, more than two years too late.” Rumsfeld said “I think the Attorney General was flat wrong” to oppose military commissions and regretted that the Obama administration wasted so much time campaigning against them. Â However, he agreed with Steve Doocy that the Bush administration should feel vindicated since they “found the right things to do to protect the American people” and such policies have been followed by Obama. Â Another area where Obama was falling short, in Rumsfeld’s opinion, was in Libya. Â Rumsfeld concluded the problem is that “ambiguity on the question of whether Gaddafi will be there when it’s over is a harmful thing. Â You need clarity.” Watch the clip from Fox News below: Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com
