DOJ Sues Roger Stone Alleging Millions In Unpaid Taxes And Fees | Talking Points Memo

While I knew immediately who you meant, it just struck me too funny to let it pass w/o noting (and I was laughing wit’ ya–NOT at ya)! (Plus, I’d never noticed that the two last names were only different by the one letter!?)

FWIW, I prefer auto-correction corruption! :+1: :mask:

Right, my bad for not being clear.
He will follow SOP, and in his hubris forget the clerks and assistant attorneys are all competing to be among the first ten to find something solid to which to nail his malevolent ass. (Above what they’ve already got.)

“How is this not criminal tax evasion?”

The IRS has a very complicated job of trying to figure out and enforce the imaginary line between criminality that is just so beyond-the-norm criminal that it has to be criminalized, and the ordinary everyday criminality that 98 percent of the oligarch class sees as their birthright.

Meh, when you’re dead… you’re dead. No spirit world. It’s hard to shake that belief because you want to hold onto something after they’re gone.
Most of my life I’ve never believed in any of that afterlife crap any more than I believed Santa was real. Then in 2003, my dad passed away. We were pretty close. I found myself thinking I could feel his spirit for a year of so afterwards. Then I came back to reality and realized that it was mostly my not wanting to let go.

Composting sounds like a carbon neutral way to deal with body. But I think I read somewhere in Missouri there is a natural grave location where you can be buried without embalming and all that other crap. Just wrap a cloth around a body and put it into a grave located in a meadow (W/O any markers) to decompose naturally. I think it was more of a shallow grave so the insects could do their job better. Either way would be fine with me.
My oldest sister donated her body to medical science/research. I asked her a couple of times if she really wanted to be dissected like a frog in a high school biology class. She said if she could be of use, she didn’t care.

He’s been awfully quiet lately, for a man who, in his own estimate, single handedly saved the nation.

That’s the way I feel about Zuckerberg.

I would guess preening in front of a full-length mirror in his walk-in closet.

I should have read down. He loves fancy shoes and hats.

Yeah, he’s pretty creepy too. More to me like an emotionless alien than a frenzied killing machine, but not a human being you’d want to go fishing with or have as a brother-in-law.

He goes around like Mr. Peanut. Completely absurd.

If Don Jr can do it…

“This is just another example of the Democrats trying to get rich people to pay their taxes,” Stone said. “I will fight this injustice to your last dollar.”

I’m not too concerned. Stone is so steeped in entitlement and arrogance he’s bound to incriminate himself again sooner rather than later. I like them going after her as well. Leverage is always good even though he’d throw his mother under the bus to save his own scaly skin.

I’m more hoping/anticipating that it’ll be she who turns on him… :sunglasses:
