DOJ Doesn’t Want SCOTUS To Hear The Texas Obamacare Case Before The Election | Talking Points Memo

Why wouldn’t the DOJ and the red states want an expedited decision if they’re convinced the ACA is unconstitutional? To say that it’s unconstitutional, but they’re okay with keeping it as the law of the land for another year defies credibility or any semblance of logic.

The answer, of course, is they want to hurt their fellow countrymen without being held accountable.

I apologize for my profane explosion this morning, not my preferred way to deal with people, and thank you for your support.

What you have posted about their plans is why I am so hair triggered and don’t need people posting doomsday scenarios routinely, and claiming it is nothing but realism. If the GOP pulls this off, I am literally going to be on the streets and I am too disabled to survive that.

Everyday the republicans are trying to hide something else “republican” from the public.

Legacy, John. Legacy. Do you want to be eternally tied to the most corrupt administration in the history of this country ? You’ve got many more years to serve.

And Mnuchin is saying that Treasury shouldn’t be required to cough up the information on how much we spend on the Trump Family’s travel until after the election. (BTW, the capital “F” is just to follow the convention of how we designate the Gambino Family, the Genovese Family and the others.)

Y’know, in some ways, this actually is the most transparent administration ever. Utterly transparent in their bending every sector of the federal government to the single goal of reelecting Donald Trump.

Why would the Appeals Court bounce this back to District Court when both have sided with Trump’s administration? Makes no sense…except to run out the clock.

This country is so Fucked.

Another good analysis at NPR

In the meantime, the issue of health care, already top of mind for many voters, could become bigger regardless of what happens. The irony is that the best-case scenario for each party, at least politically, is the one it doesn’t actually want — because the loser in major court cases often gets the biggest political bounce by energizing an angry base. For the Democrats, that would likely occur if the health law were struck down, while the Republicans could benefit if the law were upheld.

It’s fucked to say the country is fucked when it’s the administration which will be deader than dead in 2020 is the entity that did the fucking. Lose it, we can begin a return to normalcy.

O’Connor, siding with the Justice Department, had previously ruled that the whole law must be go down with the mandate.

Obviously, Republicans are talking money here, not health care.

And at the helm is Mitch McConnell, waving bye-bye to the current health care of every Kentuckian. Watch your wallet.

That would be President Mitch McConnell whose most loyal minion is the thing in the WH. Nothing happens in the administration unless Turtle approves it.

Trump and the GOP have zero plans ready if the ACA is gutted or completely eliminated. The insurance markets will crash and will likely impact the economy if the ACA goes bye bye.

Why does the GOP want to deprive millions of people the healthcare that they need? If successful, tens of thousands of Americans a year will die needlessly because of inadequate access to health care.

Why?

Because Big Pharma and Big Insurance told them to…it’s beyond sad. One might call it “deplorable.”

If a Democrat complimented Trump on how nice he smells he would claim he’d never used cologne, took a shower or wiped his butt in his entire life.
