DOJ Charges Chicago Man With Conspiracy In 2008 Mumbai Attacks | Talking Points Memo

The Department of Justice filed charges today alleging that David Coleman Headley, who was arrested in October for allegedly planning a terrorist attack against a Danish newspaper, also conspired with a terrorist training camp in Pakistan to bomb a Mumbai hotel in 2008.The charges allege that Headley, a U.S. citizen from Chicago, conducted surveillance on select targets in Mumbai for two years leading up to the attacks, which took place in November of 2008 and killed about 170 people.
