I am going to guess that women and POC make up 30% - 40% of military personnel; discouraging their participation doesn’t bode well for readiness in the long term.

One statistic I read recently is that around 40% of the military workforce are POC. Many of whom of course are women too.

Hegseth is doing his best to sink recruitment in the military. A triumph of Ideology and bigotry over any other consideration.
