DNI Ratcliffe Scrambles To Boost Laptop Conspiracy Theory, Push For Trump Re-Election | Talking Points Memo

Judging from Ratcliffe’s performance in the House’s impeachment inquiry, I’d say that there’s an excellent chance that he is a wholly-owned agent of Russian intelligence. Just the kind of corrupt bastard they’d take on as an asset.

Let’s hope that counterintelligence thoroughly investigates this scoundrel after the Biden administration takes office. Meanwhile, I’d consider him a serious flight risk. God knows what he’s been telling the GRU since he became Trump’s DNI.

Well, I’ve been dealing with our own little “October Surprise” all day today in my county.

https://weartv.com/news/local/okaloosa-county-supervisor-of-elections-and-employee-test-positive-for-covid-19

Our Supervisor of Elections tested positive for COVID-19. Today. The first day of early voting. Closed down his main office, which just also happens to be one of the five early voting locations.

I just keep reminding everyone as I race around the county…“Its not an election in Florida without something really weird happening”

Trump went to church yesterday, as so many do when they need a last resort and a shelter in the time of storm. It’s the classic Desperation Deity fallback move.

And yet God did not smite him.

And she gave him Covid, and did not smite him…

Not too many points in favor of God actually existing.

Now, this shit is weird - even for Florida. :scream:

Boy all these rallys are really helping his temper

“The intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that,” Ratcliffe said.

Yes.

And I told every candidate I’ve worked with, while helping them sort out their platforms back in April/May…that there are only going to be 2 things on voters minds come election day:

  1. The pandemic from a healthcare/risk of infection perspective.
  2. The pandemic from a economic/job loss perspective.

But these idiots have done nothing to address that obvious fact for 6 months besides whine about it existing.

Total coincidence that the Supervisor, Paul Lux, is a Republican, and now the location is closed until further notice, right?

“The DNI’s comments have been contradicted by multiple outlets reporting that the FBI is investigating the laptop as part of a potential foreign disinformation operation. Separately, Ratcliffe appeared to suggest that the broader allegations around Biden and Ukraine were also, definitively, not part of any Russian disinformation plot.”

Looking forward to this Russian military collaborator, and the other conspirators, testifying in the dock.

Nothing. Is. Off. Limits.

End Game.

This is one of the most disgusting displays of politicization of our intelligence and justice apparatus that we’ve seen yet and had it been a Dem’s administration that did this, there’d be an impeachment vote tomorrow.

Yeah, actually it is. Paul and I are pretty good friends. He may be a republican, but he is a single issue guy…getting people to vote. I spoke with him at length this morning.

He closed his office out of caution today while they are disinfecting the place. We are hoping to have it back open by Wed, and that will only mean missing 1 day of the Canvassing Board, so there shouldn’t be much of a backlog at all.

Just ask Devin Nunes… he and Giuliani were doing creative writing missives at the Trump Hotel even before Ratcliffe was nominated by Trump the first time.

O damn - I’m so sorry from so many different directions. Please be safe yourself and I hope everyone else is ok, too.

There’s no evidence to support any of this, and the limited documents that Ratcliffe has declassified have included, among other things, unproven allegations from Russian intelligence that Hillary Clinton was behind allegations that President Trump had ties to the Russian government.

Allegations about allegations. Wheels within wheels. I think the Russians are trying to hypnotize us into a catatonic state.

At least good if it’s just that. Going to be more issues like this, I’m sure, especially towards counting time.
