He might be the Director of National Intelligence, but that doesn’t mean anybody in the intelligence community follows his directions. I suspect they are very aware that this is a rather sloppy effort at old style tradecraft. I really wouldn’t put this past Giuliani or his crew (if they aren’t still in the slammer.)

How is there not a discussion of the EPIC invasion of privacy of copying someone’s hard drive and then sharing it with the globe? Would anyone ever take a computer to this dickhead again, knowing he will read every email/text/twit on your computer? And knowing he will not hesitate to compromise your privacy?

Because any of those discussions just help amplify the story. Since there’s no evidence that the HDD is real, there’re no current privacy implications.
The photo reel the Post released as “proof”, for example, was a selection of Biden family photos dating back years, and which have long been available online.
There were some interesting selfie-type or screengrabs which could be Hunter which would have different implications/questions if accurate and of him.
