There’s appeasement and there’s collaboration.
The former is done to get one side to just shut up and go away. The outcomes are the same.
I lived in Iowa for more than 12 years.
There is No. Fucking. Way. that Iowans will go back and re-caucus to make Tom Perez happy.

Too many people blindly accept the spurious argument that just because this is important, it must also be performed at breakneck speed and without any care or nuance.
It’s wrong-headed, but understandable. After all, it’s not for nothing that every hospital operating room has a stopwatch and leaderboards. I even heard that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff carries around a little 60-second hourglass to use anytime an important decision has to be made.
Or maybe it’s liars and cheats urging us into excessive haste because they hope it’ll make it less likely that we notice their shenanigans.

It seems to be a virtual tie. I believe that Perez and Co. do not want a Bernie win but is it a winner-take-all deal for delegates there?
If it’s so unimportant why are Tom Perez and his bosses trying to steal it?
Somebody explain to me again why the Iowa caucuses are first and so important that campaigns spend a full f’ing year on them? There must be a better way.

There’s this orange guy ranting at a prayer breakfast and he mentioned the debacle in Iowa. Might someone in the cult, say … Bill Barr … view the Iowa situation as an opportunity to investigatively intrude into the elections process during 2020. You know, just to make sure there’s no vote fraud?

Cool out. It’s stupid to assume that Perez is doing this to work against Sanders. If people are going to jump to that conclusion with absolutely zero evidence, then they are going to rightfully get put in their place.

Regardless of what you think about ANY of the candidates or their supporters, it’s crap like this and it’s timing, that wether you think is innocent or not only helps split the party even further between the centrist and the left. This is already getting memed and buzzing on other sites and social media. There’s a dozen better ways to handle this.
