Discussion:

From an outsider’s perspective, one has to ask why the sudden need by Faux to distance themselves from the Republican Party…when it’s still pulling its strings.

You have to believe the corporates in the Establishment GOP know that the TeaParty vampires have tasted such sweet blood with Cantor’s demise that they won’t be content until they score another big kill (bring down McConnell perhaps?), making the Midterms a potential bloodbath for the conservative playing field?

When McDaniel won’t give up in MS, you know that the Dixiecrats are on a tear again. Bill Clinton could waltz right back into Dixie in that sort of toxic atmosphere and make Hillary’s victory a really hard pill to swallow for the GOP. She could end up with long coat tails from the benefit of TeaParty anger?

What exactly has the GOP done for the Dixiecrats in the last 40 years? Seems like they are living in less than a Huey Long-style economy anyways. FDR did more for them.

And then there’s the fact that gays, Hispanics, Jews and those retiring Hippie Baby Boomers are moving in down the street daily. Democrats are moving in from the North in record numbers and will be taking over school boards and town councils before Republicans even know it’s happening.

Can’t beat them, the TeaParty might as well rejoin their long lost party?

But they rely on GOP polls which are always wrong.

Not really surprising. Megyn Kelley gets in a few [incredibly easy] knocks on some Republicans and now Fox News is suddenly a bastion of journalistic integrity. Gimme a break.

I do not want my news to be neither fair nor balanced, I want my news to be fact checked and relevant. Fox News, though is in reality none of those things. It is not fact based, it is not fair, balanced nor news.

FoxNews points to a stopped clock twice, as proof of it’s accuracy.

Only FOX slings the ignoramus “fair and balanced” slogan regarding “news” , ie facts.

Anybody with half a brain understands that facts are not subject to arbitrary opinion. Only editorial opinion legitimately invites more than one point of view.

For a part of one hour a day.

So Ms. Kelly is fair and balanced. That won’t be enough to tilt the scales toward center with all those heavyweights like Rush making it lean so far to the right…

As long as she stays on script, she’s good to go, eh?

When it serves our self interest and the dipshit we throw under the bus is no longer relevant.

Megyn states to Cheney and Bolton glaringly obvious facts that everyone with an IQ above a bowl of pea soup realizes, a full 5 plus years after the Bush administration is gone. At the same time she lets Cheney and Bolton get their lies and right-wing talking points in smearing Obama over his handling of everything. She knew she would be aired on liberal sites where the right-wing talking points and lies could be sowed like seeds that they hope will germinate and grow. Now she wants credit for being fair and balanced? Hey if she had said what she said in in 2008 or 2009 and not provided a platform for them to spew their B.S.at the same time, I would have been more impressed.

Christ, that is akin to stating that you’re lucky that you contracted bubonic plague instead of the ebola virus

Really? And just who are they trying to prove that they are fair and balanced to ? The tea party?

It’s just laughable – but sad – that Fox News can’t distinguish between BEING “fair and balanced” and APPEARING TO BE “fair and balanced.”

Apparently, appearances are everything to them. Substance nothing.

So long as it LOOKS like a widget, it IS a widget – no matter what function a widget is supposed to perform.

Tail wagging the fox?

It proves that they at least have an idea of what those two things are, not that they are anywhere near achieving either of the two.

Megyn Kelly must be doing something extremely right since her ratings have eclipsed those of her direct opponent at 9 PM, the ever losing Rachel Maddow.

Christ! will you quit yapping about ratings all ready? Ratings doesn’t equal quality. Honey Boo Boo has better ratings than Nova.
