Trump is a jackoff but he sure knows how to get under Jeb’s skin.

Jeb just really isn’t very good at this.

Congrats, you are the winner of the Understatement of the Week Award!

Jeb! can fix this.*

*If major donors ever give me enough money to allow me to sleep anywhere but a Motel 6."

“You are never going to be president of the United States by insulting your way to the presidency,” Bush fired back.

“Let’s see I am at 42 and you are at 3, so far I am doing better,”
Trump said, referring to polling numbers. “You know you started over
here, Jeb. You keep moving further and further. Pretty soon you are
going to be off the end.”
…
My GOD!! I hafta agree with a Bush statement??
edit
And Trump is fibbing about his poll numbers by inflating them a bit.

None show him at 42.

Pretty soon you are going to be off the end.

Strange words from a man who is already off the deep end.

I saw it the other way. JEB isn’t very good at this, but he was seriously getting under Trump’s skin. Trump was about to blow a gasket at this point. Even the moderators sensed it and try to defuse the situation.

Which, quite frankly, is appalling - it’s clear bias to keep the ratings candidate from blowing himself out of the race. The debates exist to show the candidates to the voters, to let them make an informed decision, and CNN just made sure the voters didn’t get an accurate picture of the candidates.

The fix was in before the debate even began. The entire first debate was essentially debating the pre framed Trump perspective. The interim between the debates was non stop Trump coverage. And then they gushed all over Trump immediately following the debate.

Yup. Trump even called them out on it when he pointed out how the early debate kept referring to him. This was CNN attempting to make sure the ratings cash cow didn’t get gored.

The crazy thing about that is that any Trump supporters JEB might peel off are not gonna support JEB.

Yeah…but Trump is trying to have his cake and eat it too, there. If you dominate the news cycles…by demanding that you dominate the news cycles…and are the front runner, then yeah…you are going to be framing the debate. Rightly or wrongly, when Trump says he wants to stop all Muslims from entering the US…that frames the debate for everyone else. Same with deporting all undocumented aliens.

Trump was just pissed because Bush was getting under his skin.

Sure, but remember: he’s pandering to a bunch of xenophobes who feel threatened by the changes in the country and the world, and who’ve been spoon-fed a siege mentality of ‘everyone’s out to get you!’ by the ®s. So when he dominates the news cycle, that’s good, and when he complains that the media’s making everything about him, that just appeals to their sense of victim-hood. ‘Of course the media’s trying to get people to attack him. He must be right!’

Bottom line is none of them have any good plans so rather than talk about how their plans will work they just have to jab at each other.

CNN is shameful in allowing Trump to get away with this, and in effectively promoting his candidacy. Trump is more dangerous to the entire world than any other person on that stage.
Still, I admit it’s highly enjoyable watching the putrid Bush Dynasty fizzle out to its final pathetic failure.

HIGH ENERGY???

HA! Who’s writing this?

wimpy, I mean jebbers? He has about as much energy as a sloth!

Me too!

However, I would have loved to see copious amounts of sweat drip off his face! Or tears!

That would have made my night.

He looks like a kid that didn’t get what he wanted for his birthday…sad, pathetic and desperate.

Monmouth had him at 41 and Jeb at 3, which is obviously what he was referring to.
