I have to confess some mixed feelings on this.

“Critical Race Theory” and the “Problem of Whiteness” are academic endeavors of dubious merit and feeble academic rigor. My introduction to the field was through a “scholar” named Henry Giroux, who has built a profitable academic career out of pretentious bullshit.

Perhaps Bebout is more rigorous.

Even better is when the phone calls are to topic experts that get a soundbite (or text bite) at most in the media, but who can provide the background and context for current news events. Speaking of which, where’s the expert analysis of the Trans-Pacific Partnership?

I like the multilevel marketing scam theory. Consultants create a 501©4{tp} front to raise funds, which will be used to pay the email writers and finance creation of a new front, which raises more funds for the sake of fundraising, until it looks like a booming grassroots movement. But it’s really just a half dozen guys kiting tweets back and forth.

Now now, don’t call them “White”.
The PC term is: “Melanin Challenged”.
