Just returned from the planned protest outside of Al-Farooq Masjid of Atlanta. About 75 counter-protestors of various faiths showed up to offer support to the members of the Mosque. Rumor has it that one protester showed up, and walked away, but we’re not sure. The event turned out to be a positive one, with the Atlanta community taking advantage of the opportunity to stand together against bigotry.

The one in Columbus, OH is just up the road. It is large, nice, and in an affluent area. It is abutted by condos and a busy, main road. These idiots will have to stand in the middle of the road, because there is no way they are protesting in someone’s front yard there.
So they’re claiming the 2nd Amendment allows them to infringe on other Americans 1st Amendment right to practice their religion at their place of worship.
