The real question is why they are running it at all. This guy clearly loves the attention, and they are giving it to him as the lead story? This is not national news. It’s one of the tiniest towns in North Dakota (and that’s saying something) and it is a couple of stupid racists looking for someone to shine a spotlight on their bigoted ideas.

As Josh noted, Trump is succeeding in rebranding the GOP as a White Nationalist Party. You might say, they have been this way for years and you would be right but now they are throwing off the hoods and going full racist. The news keeps getting worse and worse for the Republicans. Having Sessions up there legitimizes Trump and his followers. This is an all out disaster for the GOP.
