Not that party affiliation is relevant here, but Larry Barton is a Democrat.

Interesting, we know corruption occurs in all political parties. This situation reads like a territorial pissing match.

I think the Mayor probably made the fake sex tape himself, and faked the baseball bat attack, all to distract from some other scandal, so that when the real scandal is revealed it will seem “mild by comparison.” Now we just need the recording of him discussing his plan with an incredulous aide.

I honestly don’t know whether to hope the attacker and the mayor are Democrats or Republicans. I mean, I don’t approve of baseball bat guy’s violence, but I admire his gumption, and I admire the mayor still being a stud at 74.

I was going to say it sounds like Green was doing the town a public service, but really, if he defrauded the town and the idiots in Talladega still elected him they deserve whatever they get.
