Discussion:

The NRA should invest in some liability insurance–even if they will always win in each case, those lawyers can get quite expensive over time. Liability insurance and some “quiet-your-ass-down” pills to hand out to its members.

If the armed “guards” hurt recruitment numbers, the recruiters will get rid of the guards by any means necessary.

But Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno said Friday in response to the shooting that the military must be careful of “over-arming” itself, according to the Associated Press. The military has since directed recruiting centers nationwide to take greater security precautions, including closing office blinds, while groups like the National Rifle Association have called for a legislative fix that would allow troops to arm themselves at recruiting stations.

You are right General Odierno, the US military should be VERY careful of “over-arming” itself. The 2nd Amendment right to bear arms is only for the MILITIA, not the military…at least according to some with deep English comprehension issues.

But seriously, General Odierno, , only one “No Weapons Allowed” sticker on the front door isn’t enough, it just doesn’t cut it. These darn Islamic terrorists blockheads seem to have a problem spotting just one sign, you should order the whole facade of each and every military installation plastered with “No Guns” and “Gun Free Zone” signs, just in case.

Oh yeah, and close those damned blinds, for Pete sake!!!

The military isn’t happy with a bunch of hotheaded, ill-trained, and undisciplined nutjobs hanging out in front of their requirement centers, most of which are located in busy, public places. Go figure.

Wanna be military asses, with military style weapons ecstatic at ‘protecting’ the military.

It’s a cluster, wrapped in a crap, wrapped in barbed wire.

Yep. These are the guys that want to act like the military, tell drinks about their mythological service at the local bar, and dress in fatigues, but they don’t want to actually join

Marine Corps headquarters told Texas-based TV station KLTV that while they appreciate the volunteers’ support, they ask that civilians not stand guard outside their facilities.

Yeah, I can understand them being somewhat humiliated by that. These brave soldiers have signed up to protect the rest of us and not the other way around. Instead they are like sitting ducks because of a few control freaks in Washington DC

Most military recruiting offices are in strip malls, on private property. The strip mall owners need to step up and bar these gun-toting loonies from their property. I’d feel really safe walking into a pizza shop next door to the Army recruiting center with some numb-nut standing guard with an AR-15 at the ready.

Clearly these people have been duped by j helm 15. Not just surrendering their freedoms to the government but to actually protecting them from patriotic Americans. That simply wish to carry out their Second Amendment remedies. Obviously that shooting was a false flag carried out by the usurper and chief in the White House…

No different, I guess, than the federal government hiring contracted security. Morons all around.

Oh good, we can all sleep easy tonight with the full knowledge that a handful of backwoods recruiting stations are now actively patrolled by illiterate neanderthals that are into S.W.A.T.-team cosplay. I was really worried there for a second.

Ya. Between monitoring all the Wal-Marts in the SW right now to make sure they aren’t being turned into concentration camps, where will they find the manpower?

Anyone know why this guy isn’t in jail? Yes, that’s a serious question.

So the Gov’t is bad, except when it’s good? The governemnt is taking our freedoms so we need to take our country back, but, and, um, er, we need to allow the military to arm themselves to defend themselves against dangerous people even though we don’t want the military to take over Texas via the military and the military has rules about operating militarily in the domestic country but we better arm them so they can operate outside those rules???

Head hurts.

Replace “guns” for “jobs” in this vignette and you have the GOP:

Suddenly Jade Helm takes on a new perspective.

(Points finger)…Look everybody…a circular firing squad!!

Wonder why they don’t try to protect African-American churches in the South? Not that they would be wanted.

Thank you one and all. Well done.

Gives the potential recruit a little touch of war on the way into the office. He or she has to decide whether the armed lunatic standing in front of the office is friend or foe and even whether they might actually stop them from going into the office, because Freedom! and Jade Helm!, and what action they must then take. In many/most cases, the call is to just go home and go for that Bloomingdales internship discussed on “Seinfeld.”
