If it wasn’t for the whole cheating on his wife thing, I really would not care about him using money for sex. He’s old he has a lot of money the world is filled with hot young, sexy gold diggers, who want money. There is nothing wrong with that.
Donald Sterling is a billionaire pig. I don’t know if being a pig is why he is so repugnant or if being a billionaire frees him from any reason to care what others think, but he is an absolutely monsterous human being. His wife who not only tolerates but supports by taking his “gifts” back doesn’t seem to be much better.
His behavior has been tolerated for years which leads me to wonder if our entire billionaire class (his peers) often referred to by Republicans as the makers, is the same. Sort of ugly looking faux royalty who behave like they are ancient Romans.

Yes. It’s not just the racist rhetoric that’s at issue; it’s also the shifting political landscape, in which the erosion of voting rights and civil rights are accelerating. We need a resurrection of the Black Panthers or some other radical black movement, because the other side–Sterling, the Koch brothers–have all the money and the guns–Cliven Bundy, the Oath Keepers.

Sterling could have been a teachable moment for the kids who watch the NBA. It could have been a gateway to modern racism and how it has infected the Republican Party, a party which is doing all it can to enable the 0.01% to turn the 21st Century US into more of an Oligarchy than it already is.
Instead, we have pompous asses declaiming “outrage” (without substantive commentary). Kareem Abdul Jabbar was one of the notable exceptions.
But then again, Kareem read textbooks while in college.
Just a stab in the dark here…but I think it starts with an “M” and rhymes with “honey”.

I really could give a hardy turd what Sterling has to say and all of this attention is certainly misguided! If his attitude bothers the blacks who are making money for this racist, the NBA should step in and Let Magic Johnson buy the team! End of story!
