But, it pays very well.

“We got the bubble-headed-bleach-blond who
Comes on at five
She can tell you 'bout the plane crash with a gleam
In her eye
It’s interesting when people die
Give us dirty laundry”

“…”

“We can do “The Innuendo”
We can dance and sing
When it’s said and done we haven’t told you a thing
We all know that crap is king
Give us dirty laundry!”

Eh. For the most part, a good memory is all one needs to succeed at school. Computers have better memories than any human, yet aren’t considered intelligent. Just because you memorized something doesn’t mean you understand it.

And the sign that these people aren’t just playing dumb is because they’d know how to fool people without looking like an idiot.

Carlson: “So if Ebola becomes a bigger issue, the question still remains: will we be safe?”

Not if Republican budget cuts have anything to do with it.

I like totally see the connection here. Benghazi is in Africa, ebola is a disease out or Africa, Obama was born in Africa. Could the conspiracy be any more clear?

She’s still a moron. I attended top notch schools myself and was surrounded by fucking idiots all day long. I am now surrounded by fucking idiots all day long as a lawyer. Fucktards are ubiqutous.

A-yep. the problem is that they’ve cut spending on the things that make us actually safer all the while funneling money to those who don’t need it through “no bid contracts” and other shady deals. With just 1% of what we spend on the military, we could make a huge dent in the hunger problems in this country.

What these idiots don’t realize is that what eventually happens after decades of abuse from the upper classes is that the lower classes finally have enough, rebel, and soon enough people like Carlson end up with their heads impaled on pikes.

The peroxide she generously doses on her hair follicles has seeped into her brain, such as it is.

minus the class.

Golly, yet again we see the stuff emanating from the pieholes of multiple conservative media figures and Republican politicians converge on the exact same message.

Why, it’s almost as if, over and over again, there was some kind of messaging machine in the deep background that was focus grouping this stuff and handing out talking points and marching orders to politicians and pundits alike that somehow avoided all scrutiny or acknowledgement by a thoroughly cowed and co-opted press.

This calls for an immediate vote to repeal Obamacare!

When you see Carlson in a photo where her face isn’t contorted by hate and fear, the contrast is startling. She really isn’t recognizable as the same person.

Hasselbeck, however, seems to be living proof that when your momma told you to stop making that face or or it would freeze that way, she was tellin’ the truth.

I thought it meant we needed more tax cuts for rich people.

The IRS is infecting conservative groups with Ebola to keep them from blowing the lid off the Benghazi coverup!!!

Guys, guys. There’s no reason you can’t both be right. We must immediately repeal Obamacare and remove all taxation of the rich. Otherwise, the virus has won.

Oh, and gut all government entitlement programs and anything that remotely smacks of welfare, since they only perpetuate the myth that the government can protect you from anything.

Don’t think for a minute this is just to keep old eyes glued on the teevee.

Every election cycle, Republican politicians and media figures embark on a sustained campaign to whip up fear and anxiety over something or other, working themselves up into paroxysm rage the week before the election. It doesn’t much matter what–T’rrsts in 2002, 2004 and 2006, Bill Ayers and Otherdom in 2008, Obamacare and oil in the Gulf and the ravening hoards of scary negros coming to take away your stuff in 2010, Russia and Obamacare and Manchurian candidates and deficits in 2012.

This year, it was going to be Obamacare and filthy diseased drug muling criminal children from Central America, but those issues weren’t really working, so it was on to ISIS and beheadings and Ebola.

Doesn’t much matter what it is we’re supposed to be afraid of this time because, fifteen seconds after the election’s over, their urgent concern about the looming peril vanishes like a fart in the wind and the MSM forgets they ever said it. The point is that they’re the party of fear, the party whose voters are their voters because they live in a perpetual state of fear and that wins, when it wins, by getting gullible low-attention voters to buy into their message that the GOP is the party that promises big, bold, violent, and largely symbolic action to eliminate the Big Terrible Thing That’s Scaring You, and never mind that all the big thing they say they’ll do will make it worse.

Tobacco and alcohol ads always feature dark, shadowy unnerving imagery with a layer of happy-face plastered on top precisely because they’re drugs people take to suppress those feelings. The GOP works, and for decades has worked, the exact same way.

And of course, blow brown people into itty bitty pieces.

Tax cuts for the rich, deregulation and dismantlement of wasteful and unnecessary government programs and killing, maiming and/or incarcerating brown people. Really not any problem that can’t be fixed by one or two of those, but some problems are so serious, it takes all three.

Are you kidding? What we really need to successfully combat Ebola is to get rid of the “death tax” and lower both capital gains and corporate tax rates!!! /snark

ETA, darn, I replied before reading on and you all got there before me. Okay, I can be first to say privatizing SS & Medicare and cutting food stamps would be the best solution…after impeachment of course.
