Are the Israelis unaware of the long and proud history of Western mimes?

Sorry, I don’t see it.

Unless there’s a Star of David design with little balls at the points?

Seriously? At no stage in the design process was someone not able to see the connection??

Funny story.

Before it was explained to her, my daughter referred to the green and white horizontal striped pants as “recycling pants”.

No; those are recycled circus tents.

You shut your mouth. A good God-fearing right winger like Huckabee would never recycle.

Touche.

Fitting for that circus.

Being an American who grew up on Westerns, I recognized the Sheriff’s badge immediately. The stripes, however, were a puzzle. They look for all the world like traditional old-time jail uniforms - or gondoliers. So, Sheriff or convict? Or gondolier immigrant sucked into being the sheriff of Tombstone? Confusing. I didn’t draw the concentration camp link though, it could be an age/nationality thing.

Vertical stripes offer a fun and flattering way to slim and sculpt on those days when we feel just a little less than pretty!

Or, when we’ve had a little too much squirrel at dinner…

Not true!

It’s pretty easy to see. However, adding ‘SHERIFF’ in text would have added the context it sounds like ZARA was looking for.

Of course you don’t see it. It’s PC run amok.

Did concentration camps have little grommets (buttons?) on the shoulders?

Totally. All the concentration camp uniforms I’ve seen have wide vertical stripes. This looks more based on Breton fishing shirts.

Marcel Morceau playing Gary Cooper, if you like.
