I wish that when they report on the failed Yemen raid they would quit minimizing the carnage. At least 15 Yemeni women and children were also killed. Just sayin’.
ETA: The raid had been put on hold by Obama due to lack of verifiable intelligence. I expect to see a lot more failed missions and easily avoidable carnage due to “lack of verifiable intelligence.” It’s a hallmark of HaarFührer and his henchmen. What a legacy he’ll have.

Important request: can you please be more careful in your characterization of Bannon, Miller and their cohort? Saying they are “nationalists” buys into their anodyne self-description, and is not greatly meaningful. Please tell us more about what this label means. Is it an anti-immigrant stance? A pro-autarky or fortress economy position? A white, Christian, proto-fascist ideology? Please resist the temptation to use the “nationalist” label without further explication.

I believe this is intentional on his part. He’s insecure enough that he doesn’t want any challenges at his level, and as a way to ensure that, he has set up his staff like a fucking reality show - keeping folks off-balance, fomenting conflict, playing favorites, having come-to-Jesus meetings.

We can be surprised by this and not surprised next time something weird happens since we were caught off guard by this.
We get caught “offguard” by something else like that and I’m telling you - the country will blow wide open. It’s on the verge right now.
Watching them set fires in Berkeley last night made me so happy that it felt like that was what I’d been waiting for.
If they don’t fix this by marching season they are going to see a summer the likes of which they’ve never seen before because in the meantime there are more people expressing their deep anger over all this than I’ve ever seen before.

It is amazing a doctor, although his doc looks like a crazy man, would supply this info to any reporter about his patient. Glad to see this has come out. It could be useful in the impeachment hearings to find Trump mentally incompetent…although seemingly we knew this already!

I’m not normally the “Obama did it too” type, not at all. And I’m sure you already know this. But however badly the raid went, and however much Trump is responsible for what happened, let’s not forget that we’ve been killing civilians in Yemen for years now, both on our own account and by proxy via the Saudis.
I certainly ignored and downplayed our actions in Yemen under the Obama administration, but can we all agree that when this nightmare administration is over we’ll remain attuned to civilian casualties and protest against them?

One of the leakers I’ve been following on Twitter, Rogue POTUS Staff, appears to be exactly that. It also appears there is more than one person using that account.
At first there was some question as to whether it was real. But time and again they’ve tweeted stuff that ends up surfacing days later. Good stuff.
