Not enough Rahm hate for an upset.

Huge night for Hillary. Dare I say it? Even better than expected…coming off the loss in Michigan last week.

I hope Bernie stays in to keep pushing Hillary leftward, but it’s most definitely over.

In fairness, Illinois and Missouri are basically the same outcome as Michigan. The difference is, that ties are wins for Hillary and loses for Bernie.

The Democrats have an embarrassment of riches in Hillary and Bernie. Like '08, the primary process is making the eventual nominee stronger. The battle to win each primary is not inflicting permanent damage on either. And like in '08, the nominee will win the White House in November.

The GOP, on the other hand, is simply an embarrassment. To themselves, our nation and the world.

Keep it going, Hillary! I’m proud to support you!

This is all about the media narrative and the appearance of winning. It doesn’t matter whether or not HRC wins MO or IL, she would still win the delegate math by holding Sanders to a narrow victory that doesn’t net him enough delegates to move the needle.

Clean sweep – very impressive!

Strong showing by Bernie on IL and MO, even though he came up short in the end.

I don’t expect Bernie to drop out, but I do think the race changes, Hillary finally gets to make a pretty full pivot to the general election. Bernie wins some more states and a lot more delegates, but Hillary easily wins the pledged delegate race, making the superdelegates irrelevant and leading to a pretty straightforward convention and nomination – which will be a lot easier to deal with, if less exciting, than the Republican convention. Speaking of which…Paul Ryan? GTFOH!

It would be nice if other so called Progressive sites would too. Right HuffPo has Hillary’s night about 10 stories down behind some mundane story about Seinfeld.

And of Ohio, Florida, North Carolina and Missouri.

Do you really believe that Hillary can beat Trump? I say that because remember George Bush won with less than 20% of the electorate voting for him, and the voter turnout for the Dems is quite a bit less than the Republicans are getting… and there are a lot of people disgusted with the Washington Establishment…

I say that because remember George Bush won with less than 20% of the electorate voting for him, and the voter turnout for the Dems is quite a bit less than the Republicans are getting… and there are a lot of people disgusted with the Washington Establishment…It is also pathetic that Hillary ‘won’ Illinois by less than 2%… Her birth state…

Amazing that Bernie was within 2% of her in her birth state…

So she was born in Illinois – but she’s probably more associated with Arkansas & New York in people’s minds.

And yes, I do believe that Hillary can beat Trump… which is why the GOP establishment is retrenching to focus on down-ballot races in hopes of salvaging something in the fall. Unfortunately for the GOP, Hillary has coattails. (Bernie does not.)

WTF sort of silliness is that? Hillary has no particular ties to Illinois. She lived in Arkansas with Bill for most of her pre White House adult life (a state she won handily) and New York post White House (where she was Senator). What’s pathetic is sore Bernie losers coming here to concern troll about a state that Bernie…LOST. Like every other state last night.

And yeah, Hillary will beat the stuffing out of Trump, and will have long coat tails to boot.
