I don’t think there’s immunity in the deal either because the crimes are too egregious – especially from Mr. “Lock Her Up” himself. I think the deal will involve a reduction of time.

Along those lines, I tells ya, I do not want to see a Democratic Party version of Operation Paperclip when this disgusting episode is all over: I want ALL the pathetic players to do a perp walk. I want them all shamed, I want them all shunned. It will not suffice for the next Dem president to say, “Okay,let’s move ahead and not look back.”

@katscherger - I think you are right. Immunity Flynn would have flipped months ago when he was playing the Senate Intelligence Committee for immunity. I suspect he has decided to take a regular old cooperation agreement where he pleads guilty to some of the many crimes he had the fucking audacity to commit while accusing HRC of criminal conduct.

Meanwhile Trump and Nunnes and other Republicans tried to trump up lies about Hillary selling uranium to Russia while Flynn, Kushner, and Trump were scheming to sale nukes throughout the Middke East.
Obviously nukes don’t kill people…people kill people. Nukes in the Middle East are like flooding America’s streets with hand guns…the more the merrier.

This is likely why he was making the rounds six months ago saying, “I’ll talk to anyone who’ll give me immunity.” He knew that if when his transgressions came to light, he was SOL. He was hoping that someone would be dumb enough to offer him an immunity deal before they knew what the immunity was for.

This is only a piece of an unfolding scandal that involves Mike Flynn and Trump.What motivated Flynn to go so off the rails -money, anger and revenge? It makes my head hurt thinking about all of the tentacles of this. The Trumps, Flynns Kushners -all crime families.

Josh has an Editor’s Post and he was talking about how breath-taking all this is. We have had generals who ‘arranged’ things in a certain way that enriched them, we had Petraeus and his girl friend. THIS is unprecedented. Truly.
A few years back my SS-receiving husband had a part-time job that made too much money. The feds kept back his SS payments until it equaled the overpayment. I have heard that the DoD is thinking of keeping his generals’ pension until he pays back at LEAST $550,000 which he got from Russia and Turkey, because he had received notification that foreign lobbying was ILLEGAL.
Cripes.
ETA: I would love him and his odious son to have to do pubic perp walks and I would stand in the crowd screaming LOCK THEM UP. OH I feel bad. NOT nice. But where those two are concerned, there is nothing worse than a hypocrite who commits treason. MY opinion.

Once again I would hasten to add that Russia does not have a great track record at building nuke plants (anyone remember Chernobyl?). And that’s not the only poorly designed plant of theirs.

Mark my words, ladies and gentlemen. It’s going to turn out that Mr. Trump is involved in all these schemes, he was supposed to be making money from them, every last damn one of them. From the Russian built Nuclear plants, to the payoff for kidnapping Gulen, the Feeble-Minded Lying Orange Urine-Stain was going to get a cut of every bit of it. When this comes apart, it will be epic. (God save the Republic.)
Because, you know, charging the Secret Service rent on the fscking golf carts just isn’t making Trump rich.
