Discussion: WSJ: DHS Chief Pushed Back Against WH Attempts To Name Kobach His Deputy

I believe that to relieve the president of his duties per the 25th amendment, that a number of cabinet members and the VP have to sign off.

I hope Kelly sticks around, seems he can be reasoned with.

That would have been a disaster considering how Kansas rapidly collapsed

Fred Trump and PeePeeā€™s mom must have been horrible parents to raise this sociopath as well as a son who drank himself to death at a young age.

I donā€™t normally don tinfoil - especially this early in the morning - but I canā€™t help feeling like both DHS and the intelligence community are being kept purposely in the dark by President Bannon so that he can successfully pull of his false flag ā€œterrorist attackā€ and declare Martial Law. I hope Iā€™m wrong and just operating off of too many sleepless nightsā€¦

Time to start flooding the WH switchboard with calls asking to speak with President Bannon

I think Bannonā€™s plan may be to do so many outrageously crazy things in the first 2 or 3 weeks, that the just plain crazy things they do from then on will seem ā€œreasonableā€ and be normalized out of sheer relief that the hurricane has ended. We canā€™t let that happen. RESIST!

He not ā€˜goingā€™. Heā€™s already there and always has been. Thatā€™s the only place heā€™s ever been.

This is the 11th day of greatness for America! There are many more to come. A quick trip to the outrage store is in order.

Kobach would be bad news in DC. The manā€™s a flat out bigot with dreams of power. That Kansas voters would park him in the #2 spot in their state is an abomination. This guy had the temerity when a member in the KS state legislature to write a law for Arizona. It passed as SB1070ā€¦oue famous ā€œpapers pleaseā€ law that Joe Arpiao (Maricopa County sheriff at the time) used to snatch people off the street without cause and accuse them of being illegals.

Kobach is no nice guy.

It would be a great tribute to Adolf if Bannon can find a way to declare a state of emergency. If we are to believe that anyone in D.C. still cares, the Constitution requires that there be an insurrection before anything close to a state of emergency can be declared. Perhaps the Libruls will burn the national library? If you see an unusual number of moving vans on the streets of DC that would be a clue.

Mrs darr is of the same thought pattern. She relieves stress by heading to the gymā€¦frequently. Sheā€™s headed that way presently due to reading the news this morning. Iā€™m gonna go take my dog to a local dog park. The other retired folk there are a good source of information.
Mrs darr is of the opinion that MH370ā€¦that plane that went missing? Never crashed in the sea but is gonna be used for some nefarious purposeā€¦I donā€™t ascribe to that idea.

I keep thinking of Wormtongue, too. The one problem with the analogy is that there is no good King ThĆ©oden in Trumpā€™s gooey center.

So if General Kelly has any integrity or self-respect heā€™ll quit now. Believe me, it ainā€™t going to get easier down the road, selling his soul one small piece at a time.

Kellyā€™s days at DHS are numbered. He opposed Bannon, which is fatal to a career in Trumpā€™s kakistocracy.

Bannonā€™s probably got a plan ready to go for a Reichstag fire event to justify martial law and suspension of Constitutional rights.

Trump: No worries. I will fire Kelly and put Kobach as Chief of DHS. I will give it few days.

If you even have the APPEARANCE of being smarter than Trump you have no place in his train wreck.
