Florida GOP will do everything they can to keep people from voting Democratic. In fact, I think that’s in the by-laws of the entire GOP.

I suspected that Florida’s GOP would try a stunt like this. And I also am not surprised that when they’re called out they swear on a stack of Torah’s this is about voter integrity (Bravo Sierra).
As pointed out by multiple individual’s without massive voter suppression the GOP would be a small regional offices party with no chance of winning the Presidency.

This is because the GOP can’t win any other way. They did the same in Wisconsin after Walker was shown the door. Passing laws to minimize their losses, and against the very will of their constituents.
If this turns ugly (and it will), I can’t wait to see what happens to them in 2020. When over 60% of people vote for something, and your reps turn around and do the opposite? Or try to defang the people’s referendum?
I wonder how many of these legislators will survive 2020? I’m guessing very, very few…
